Camins del Priorat is Álvaro Palacio's introduction to the Priorat wine, and it is the first in volume of sales. The wine is worldwide recognised for its simplicity, freshness, elegance and its incredible ageing potential.

It is a blend of grapes sourced from eight different municipalities within the DOQ Priorat: Gratallops, La Vilella Baixa, Bellmunt, El Lloar, El Molar, Porrera, Torroja and Poboleda. Sourced from younger vines that have not been used in the production of Les Terrasses, growing on steep slopes "costers" and terraces made up of slate (llicorella) at altitudes between 350 and 700 meters with varying orientations.

Production: 

Vinified 100% destemmed grapes. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, it has been aged in 2º and 3rd year French oak barriques for 8 months.

Tasting Notes: 

Good concentration of fresh red fruits, pressed flowers, and notes of vanilla. Full-bodied, warm with a soft texture and a lively style, low acidity, spicy and mineral notes, well integrated oak with soft tannins. Fragrant finish.

Notes: Optimun time of consumption from the first year in bottle. Drinking beautifully now and during the next 7–8 years.
