Production:

Classic Mediterranean-style wine made from a blend of Grenache and Syrah grapes handpicked from a young vineyard in the locality of Batea. Selected grapes fermented in stainless steel deposits with pigeage.

Tasting notes:

Dark black cherry colour. Dark fruit character, violets with spicy overtones. Medium-bodied, juicy, fruity, and straightforward with sweet, ripe tannins.

Lo Cometa is part of the Abanico Wines, a project developed by Rafael De Haan and Nuria Áltes, consisting of a selection of the best wineries from different DOs from all over Spain. Brands created from great wines made from native grape varieties, each wine reflecting the essence of each regional character where they are coming from.
