Clos Fontà Vi de Finca Qualificada is the most precise representative of Mas d'en Gil terroir, a blend of Garnacha and Carinyena selected from different plots in the valleys around the bodega's estate, old vines planted from 1931 up to 1970 on soils composed of llicorella.

The wine has aged for 16 months in 1500L and 225L French oak barrels (30% new) and another 36 months in bottle before being released.

Tasting Notes:

Sweet cherry, spices, and mineral-scented nose, complex and full-bodied, the flavours include plums, black cherries, and black currants, dense, elegant, and plenty of character.

Notes: It is recommended to decant before serving to fully enjoy its aromas and flavours. Outstanding potential longevity.

Mas D’en Gil is a 125-hectare estate that has been in the Rovira family's ownership since 1998. It is located in the Bellmunt del Priorat district, in the southern part of the historic Priorat region, and has 45 ha of vine-planted terraces and hillsides at 300 metres above sea level with soils made of the distinctive Priorat slate soil.
