This classic Rioja wine has been aged in American oak for 20 months, followed by another 20 months in bottle before its release.

Tasting Notes:

Mouth-filling black fruit and fresh red fruit. Nice hints of coffee and sweet spices go along with some classic, juicy Morello cherry fruits, good refreshing acidity, and a classic, stylish, long finish. VEGAN SUITABLE

THE WINERY

Ramón Bilbao, an experienced wine trader from Haro in the Rioja Alta, founded the company in 1924. A family-owned winery handed down from generation to generation until 1966, when the last of the descendants passed away.

Today, it is owned by the family business, Diego Zamora S.A., one of Spain's largest beverage groups and the producer of the well-known brand Licor 43. Ramón Bilbao is a well-known and popular reference on the local market for producing high-quality wines that are true to their origins at fair prices.
