Production:

Harvested manually. The wine has been aged for 12 months in French, Hungarian, and Rumanian oak barriques.

Tasting Notes: 

Mature dark fruit nose with spice and mineral hints. Concentrated, creamy, and very approachable with good ripe fruit on the palate and beautifully integrated subtle oak, minerals, and caco flavor. Finishing nicely with fine and elegant tannins.

Note: To be enjoyed during the next 6-7 years.

La Vinyeta is a young, dynamic, small, family-owned winery. It all started in 2002 with the purchase of some very old Carignan and Grenache vineyards as the result of the creative and young project of Josep Serra and his team.

In 2006, the new winery was built, and the first vintage elaborated. Today,as a result of their persistent effort and ambition, they have 30 ha of planted vines, and they produce an interesting and modern range of wines.
