Production: 

A single-varietal wine sourced from 20-year-old Syrah vines, partly aged in French oak barrels (20%) for approximately 5 months.

Tasting Notes:

A full, fresh, and fruity wine with red fruit and a touch of citrus, as well as balsamic and spicy notes. Invitingly sweet finish.

Notes: While delicious right now in its youth, it can age gracefully, and the fruit and freshness will turn into more balsamic notes and complexity.

Coca i Fitó is about the brothers Toni and Miquel, the driving force behind this unique and innovative cellar that creates singular and very much appreciated great-quality wines. Coca i Fitó is the brand that identifies the winery's more singular wines.

The wines are made by Toni, a renowned oenologist with an extensive curriculum and a great reputation in the area. Their project, which began in 2006 in DO Montsant, has not stopped expanding, always searching for new challenges and wine-producing regions to add to their already impressive and interesting range of wines. They have since added DO Terra Alta and DO Empordá and recently also started making wine in the DO Ribeira Sacra.
