A naturally sweet wine made from Moscatel d'Alexandria grapes, from the "Mas d'en Caçador" estate, from ungrafted vines of over 70 years of age.

Vinification:

Destemming and vatted, initiating spontaneous fermentation with the maceration of the skins, spends 4 months in stainless steel vat with its fine lees. Filtered and bottled in March 2022. Production of 1000 bottles.

Tasting Notes:  Floral nose of honeysuckle and sweet peaches, honey elements, sweetness in balance with the acidity, grapey fruits and a lovely finish.

This young winery, Bodegas Giol Porrera, is the project of winegrower and winemaker, Jonàs Macip, together with the full support of his family, have created a small family run operation in the heart of the Priorat, in the village of Porrera to elaborate their own wines from the grapes they have always grown and used to sell to others producers. The winery is born in 2018 and their vintage is released in the market in 2020 in the middle of the difficulty and uncertainty that the Pandemic has brought in.
