Grapes are hand-picked from sustainable, organic, and biodynamic vineyards. Fermented in stainless steel vats at 16ºC only using native yeasts, with twice-weekly battonage for 3 months. Clear, filtered before bottled. Natural SO2: 12mg/l.
Best enjoyed in its youth, within 1–2 years.
Tasting Notes: A tipical Xarel.lo palate, apple fruit over a mineral background, crisp acidity, and salinity. Refreshing, dry finish.
Can Sumoi is the latest project of the Raventós family (Raventós I Blanc). Their latest acquired estate is an agriculture farm dating back to 1645, located in the Massís del Montmell, DO Penedès, with vines growing on poorly developed calcareous and stony soils at 600 meters in altitude.
In this ideal setting, the Raventós i Blanc family began their project based on respect for the environment, natural winemaking with the minimum intervention possible, and practising 100% organic and biodynamic farming.
The result is a range of high-quality natural wines, made from native varieties without the use of additives or any other manipulation. Wines with great personality and quality that transmit the flavour and characteristics of the terroir.
