This Brut Nature has been elaborated using the autochthonous grape varieties of the Conca de Barberà region: Macabeo and Parellada, which are manually selected from their own best vineyards. Second fermentation in bottle and remaining on its lees for a minimum of 18 months.
Tasting Notes:
Youthful, approachable, but with a strong personality. Straw yellow in colour with greenish tones and persistent bubbles. Aromas reminiscent of fresh white fruits, pears, and pineapple with touches of dry herbs. Smooth and fresh, with good fruit and acidity, which gives it a refreshing finish.
Notes: Best consumed up to 12 months after the disgorgement date.
CELLER CARLES ANDREU
This is a small, family-owned winery whose roots can be traced to 1781. As recorded in the history archives, the family has been dedicated to growing vines ever since the 18th century.
Today the family owns 80 ha of vineyards in the Conca de Barberà, and it is run by Carles Andreu, who, in 1991, continuing with the family tradition, established the actual bodega that bears his name in the town of Pira. There, they produce a beautifully made selection of cavas and wines of excellent quality.
