Prohom Conceptia is a red organic wine, a blend of mainly black Grenache (50%) and, in smaller proportions, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the finca “Les Comes d'en Bonet” and the Syrah from the finca “Serra de Castellnou.”

Production: 

Manually harvested, each variety was vinified separately and aged briefly for three months in new French oak barrel.

Tasting Notes: Deep cherry colour. Good aromatic intensity, scents of ripe fruit, black plum, and lightly toasted notes. On the palate, there is volume and fruity weight, great freshness, and the right amount of acidity, all in balance.

Note: Best enjoyed now, while in its youth, or over the next 1-2 years.

THE WINERY

Coma d’en Bonet belongs to the Fuster Amades family, a family with a long winegrowing tradition from the village of Gandesa, within the Terra Alta denomination of origin, in the province of Tarragona, south of Catalonia. Now they are farming and producing their wines organically. They work 28 ha of vines divided into different plots and growing in the characteristic clay-calcareous soil, which is very poor in organic matter. All their wines are fully certified organic by the Catalan Organic Farming Council (CCPAE).
