Young red wine elaborated from a blend of Grenache and Old Carignan. The Grenache is sourced from the 10-hectare estate "Aiguasals" in the municipal district of Falset, which grows on sloped slated soils (known locally as "Licorella"), and the Carignan (Samsó) is planted on a small parcel with clay soils in the municipal district of Els Guiaments.

Production:

The grapes were manually harvested and meticulously sorted at the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats for 16 days for the Grenache and 22 days for the Samsó. Briefly aged in used French and American oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Scents of fresh red fruit with a slight spiciness and balsamic notes. Pleasantly soft and fruity palate with easy-drinking tannins and smooth oak. Fresh and long aftertaste.

Note: This is a wine to be enjoyed over the next 3–4 years.
