Serving Temperature: 16º - 18º

Production:

40% is sourced from 50-year-old vines, and the rest is from relatively younger vines. Aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Pleasant and intense bouquet of red fruits, slightly floral hints with mineral and toasted notes. On the palate, soft and sweet spice tones combine with nicely integrated oak notes and rounded, firm tannins to give the wine an earthy and persistent aftertaste.

Notes: Decanting is recommended.

Francesc Sánchez-Bas Montsalvat is a small family winery located in the heart of Priorat, in the village of La Vilella Alta within the DOQ Priorat. They own 15 ha of vines. The winegrowing and production are done according to traditional methods.
