Tuets Tot Negre is a blend of the Celler's red varieties, made with the grape's own yeasts and unfiltered. A total of 13158 bottles were produced.
Tasting Notes:
Intense and complex, rich with red fruit aromas, especially of cherry, and subtly spicy with a herbal edge. Smooth, firm yet velvety tannins, plenty of red fruit, hints of spice, and a slight astringency. Lovely, pleasant finish. Suitable for vegans.
THE CELLER
Celler Tuets is a small family winery in Aiguamurcia, a small village situated in the Alt Camp area in the province of Tarragona.
The creator of the wines is Albert Domingo, a passionate and enthusiastic young winemaker, who together with his father works the family estate, 70 hectares of land that has been in the family’s hands for six generations. Of those, 22 ha are planted with vines on predominately calcareous soils at an altitude of 500–600 meters above sea level.
The wines are organically farmed using biodynamic principles, which Albert is very fond of. They have been practising organic farming for a long time, and for a few years, the farm has been fully certified organic.
Albert’s philosophy is zero intervention, manual harvest; all the wines are vinified in stainless steel vats, fermented with natural yeasts, and have no fining, stabilisation, or filtering and are sulphite and additive free.
