This Brut Rosé has been elaborated exclusively with the variety Trepat, perfectly adapted to the Conca de Barberà region.
Manually selected from their own best vineyards. Second fermentation in bottle and remaining on its lees for a minimum of 18 months.
Tasting Notes:
Youth and freshness are its most important attributes. Cherry colour with a continuous but slow bead of bubbles forming a white circular crown inside. A wide variety of aromas with lively fruitiness display floral notes as well. Creamy smoothness with a refreshing mouthfeel and a pleasant, light bitter finish.
Notes: Best consumed up to 12 months after the disgorgement date.
CELLER CARLES ANDREU
This is a small, family-owned winery whose roots can be traced to 1781. As recorded in the history archives, the family has been dedicated to growing vines ever since the 18th century.
Today the family owns 80 ha of vineyards in the Conca de Barberà, and it is run by Carles Andreu, who, in 1991, continuing with the family tradition, established the actual bodega that bears his name in the town of Pira. There, they produce a selection of cavas and wines of high quality.
