Production:

Detrás de la Casa is a single varietal Syrah, a project of Uvas Felices with the collaboration of the Castaño Family of Bodegas Castaño in Yecla.

The wine is made by Bodegas Castaño from Syrah grapes, a variety that, in a short time, has achieved an important leading role among the other foreign varieties in the region due to its exceptional ability to adapt to the region's arid and sunny soil characteristics.

Harvested by hand, destemmed grapes, fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 13 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Big, intense, full of ripe red and black fruit, floral notes, and spicy undertones. Medium bodied, velvety, and juicey on the palate, with toasted and spicy tones, and smooth tannins on the finish.
