A 100% Grenache young wine made from organic grapes sourced from a combination of older and younger vines.
Handpicked and selected at the winery. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 23º - 24ºC in concrete tanks. The wine has not been clarified. Certified Organic. Suitable for vegans
Tasting Notes:
Beautiful fruity nose, blackberry, kirsch, mineral, and spicy with hints of violets. Medium-bodied, with wonderful fruit flavour intensity, sweet tannins, and a smooth, peppery aftertaste.

THE WINERY
Herencia Altés is the project of Nuria Altés, daughter and granddaughter of a local winegrower family in Batea, the main village in Terra Alta, with a long tradition in wine production and accounting for 50% of its entire grape production. Her wines come from the family's vineyards, which are scattered throughout the hillside around the village of Batea. They produce excellent-value wines.
The winery produces and grows its grapes organically, and all the wines are duly certified by the authority CCPAE, the Catalan Council of Organic Production, the public watchdog responsible to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Catalan Government.
