Sumarroca Bodega was founded in 1986. This house produces a wide range of very good, reliable, and well-priced wines. Currently, it comprises 455 ha located in the beautiful Penedès region; this makes it a sizeable estate and allows them to supply the wineries with 100% of the grapes they require to produce their wines and cavas.

Production:

Elaborated from the three traditional Cava varieties: Macabeu, Xarelo and Parellada, complementing the blend with a small proportion of the universal Chardonnay, all sourced from their own estate, Sabartés, and aged for an average of 36 months.

Tasting Notes:

Pale yellow in colour with a good balance of freshness and fruit. Clean and elegant, it displays a creamy texture with a balanced acidity and good fruit persistence, with some pleasant herbaceous nuances towards the finish.
