Production: 

This unoaked Godello comes from different plots around the Amandi Sub-zone on slate, granite, and sandy soils at about 300-500 metres of altitude and from vines ranging between 35 and 40 years old. It has spent 6 months in contact with its lees.

Tasting Note:

Excellent complexity, lively aromas, fresh fruit, especially pears and green apples, and good acidity with lemongrass and peach notes.

Notes: Drinks nicely for the next 2–3 years.

ADEGAS GUÍMARO is a small family winery that produces a small and selected amount of wine in the traditional way. They own 8 hectares comprising 30- to 100-year-old vines and work another 12 to 14 hectares under their control. The vines are planted in single-row plots in a privileged natural setting on steep slopes ranging between 50% and 70%. They collaborate with other wineries, such as Niepoort and Raúl Pérez.
