Made from an equal blend of Tempranillo and Grenache sourced from their own vineyards located around the village of Alfaro. Spent 5 months in foudres and barrels.
Tasting Notes:
Aromatic dark cherry and blueberry scented nose, combined with floral notes. On the palate, lovely and round fruit, full of freshness and length on the finish.

Bodegas Palacios Remondo is a family-owned winery established in 1948 by Jose Palacios Remondo, the 4th generation of a family with a long involvement with wines for more than 150 years. This was also the childhood home of Alvaro Palacios, the acclaimed Spanish winemaker. He learnt his craft here and, after his father's death in 2000, is now officially a winemaker too on the family’s home estate in Rioja.
The winery is located within the Oriental Rioja in the municipal district of Alfaro. The estate owns 100 ha of vines, which are located on a large and steep hill, south-east facing, at an altitude of 550 metres above sea level, and made up of clay and lime soils with very poor organic matter. The varieties planted are: Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano, with just 8 ha planted with the white grape variety Viura.
