Coma Blanca, also known as "La Grand Dame", is the crown jewel of Mas d'en Gil, a complex and deep white wine that can easily be drunk after red wines. It begins to awaken and reveal its potential after the fourth year.

A blend of white Grenache from two different plots and Macabeo from another two vineyards. Classified old vines planted between 1941 and 1945 on llicorella, river pebbles, and sand soils.

Production:

The wine has aged for 9 months in 500-liter French oak barrels (30% new) and another 24 months in bottle, before being released.

Tasting Notes:  Elegant and complex nose; fruity background; stone white fruit; aromatic herbal notes with a toasted hint; broad, savory, and unctuous

Notes: It is recommended to decant before serving to fully enjoy its aromas and flavours. Good ageing potential.

Mas D’en Gil is a 125-hectare estate that has been in the Rovira family's ownership since 1998. It is located in the Bellmunt del Priorat district, in the southern part of the historic Priorat region, and has 45 ha of vine-planted terraces and hillsides at 300 metres above sea level with soils made of the distinctive Priorat slate soil.
