Torelló 225 Brut Nature is the result of selected grapes from the oldest vineyards at the Can Martí Finca.
Production:
Hand harvested at the optimum moment of maturity of the grapes to achieve the best balance between sugar and acidity. At the selection table, sorting is done bunch-by-bunch. It has gone through a soft pressing and more than 30 months of aging on stacking racks with manual remuage in the traditional racks.
Tasting Notes:
Light, elegant nose with complex aromas of toast, nuts, and bakery notes. Classic, refreshing white fruits and citrus peel fruits, smooth and creamy texture, good acidity, with a mouth-filling and enjoyable finish.
THE WINERY
Family-run winery, viticulturists since 1395 and making wine and cava since 1951, is actually run by the 22nd generation, who today still conserve the property, the Can Martí estate, which has been with the family since 1935 and actually comprises 135 hectares located halfway between the sea and the mountain of Montserrat in the region of Penedès.
Torelló is a founding member of the new Brand, CORPINNAT, which stands for a collective European Union brand established with the aim of distinguishing great sparkling wines made in the heart of the Penedès from 100% organic manual harvest, 100% vinified on the premises of the winery, and long aging.
