Telmo Rodríguez's Muscat of Alexandría dry white wine is a mountain wine made from vines planted between 550 and 1000 meters above sea level on very steep, slate-sloped hills behind Málaga.
Production:
100% hand harvested. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks with native and selected yeasts, and bottled un-oaked after nine months of ageing in the same tanks.
Tasting Notes:
Light and aromatic, fruit and floral aromas, honeysuckle, citrus fruits, mineral. Dry and silky on the palate, with a slight bitterness towards the end.
Notes: It ages very well in bottle.
Compañia de Vinos de Telmo Rodríguez was established in 1994, following Telmo's time working at the family-owned winery Remelluri.
