Casta Diva is a dry Moscatel wine, elegant, fresh, and aromatic. Produced by Bodegas Gutierrez de la Vega in the small village of Parcent in the Alicante mountains. 100% Moscatel de Alejandría (also known as Moscatel Romano) from older bush-trained vines over 60 years old planted in clay-limestone soils rich in iron at an altitude of 400 metres. The wine is a clear example of the potential of the Moscatel grape when made in a dry style.

Production:

Traditional manual cultivation and hand-harvested grapes that have been carefully selected. The grapes are destemmed, lightly pressed, and fermented with indigenous yeasts. Aged on its fine lees briefly for 4 months in stainless steel vats.

Tasting Notes:

Clean, bright golden colour. Aromatic nose intermingling floral, citrus, herbaceous, mineral and light aniseed notes. Dry and fresh on the palate with vibrant acidity and citrus fruit flavours. It has a refreshing finish with a slight salinity touch.
