Pure Mediterranean wine, 100% White Grenache, from vineyards in the Montmell mountains, 600 meters above sea level, with stony, underdeveloped limestone soils.

Production:

Grapes are hand-picked from sustainable, organic, and biodynamic vineyards. Skidded and gently crushed in an inert atmosphere. Pressed at low pressure. Fermented in stainless steel vats for 27 days only using native yeasts.

Best enjoyed in its youth within the first year.

Bottled without stabilisation or filtering, it does not contain any added oenological products. SO2: 30 mg/l

Tasting Notes:

Bright, clean yellow colour. It combines intense fruity aromas with light floral notes and fine, fresh herbaceous notes. Elegant nose, white fruit flavours. It stands out for its freshness, good acidity, and volume.

THE PROJECT

Can Sumoi is the latest project of the Raventós family (Raventós I Blanc). Their latest acquired estate is an agriculture farm dating back to 1645, located in the Massís del Montmell, DO Penedès, with vines growing on poorly developed calcareous and stony soils at 600 metres in altitude.

In this ideal setting, the Raventós i Blanc family began their project based on respect for the environment, natural winemaking with the minimum intervention possible, and practising 100% organic and biodynamic farming.

The result is a range of high-quality natural wines, made from native varieties without the use of additives or any other manipulation. Wines with great personality and quality that transmit the flavour and characteristics of the terroir.
