L’Alegria Bobal Cepas Viejas Arcilla is an artisanal wine of the Bobal variety, coming from vineyards grown in sustainable agriculture and organic viticulture.

Born from the joint project of the Valencian brothers Bruno and José Luis Murciano, sommelier and winemaker, respectively, in the DO Utiel-Requena.

The Bobal grapes are sourced from 70-80-year-old bush vines planted at altitudes of up to 950 metres in Caudete de las Fuentes, in Bruno Murciano's hometown in east-central Spain's Utiel-Requena region.

Winemaking:

Harvesting by hand, fermentation in stainless steel tanks with 50% whole bunch, and indigenous yeasts. Aged for ten months in 500-litre used French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: 

Light and fresh, fragrant nose filled with intense aromas of black fruit and floral touches. In the mouth, it has a broad, silky texture, good acidity, fresh tannins, and a long finish.
