Production:

ÀN/2 is a fresh and mineral red wine produced by the Ánima Negra winery in Mallorca. Founded as recently as 1994, the winery has demonstrated in a very short time the high-quality wines that can be produced in Majorca.

ÀN/2 is a blend of the main indigenous Mallorcan grapes: old-vine Callet with Mantonegro and Fogoneu, which make up 80% of the blend, and a small part of Syrah.

Hand-harvested and manually selected. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and cement tanks, followed by a long maceration and ageing for 13 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Seductively sweet fruit opens on the nose with spice, chocolate hints, toasted notes, and dark cherry fruit. The palate is medium, juicy, and creamy, with ripe berry fruit with a Mediterranean character.
