Prohom Experientia is a red organic wine, a blend of mainly black Grenache (60%) and, in smaller proportion, Cariñena, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the finca "Les Comes d’en Bonet" and Syrah from la finca "Serra de Castellnou".

Production:

Manually harvested, each variety was vinified separately and aged for 10 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Deep cherry color. Rich, ripe dark fruit with subtle hints of spice and slightly toasted notes. Ripe dark fruit opens the palate, keenly balanced in acidity with subtle layers of spice and toast, balsamic notes, and well-integrated tannins.

THE WINERY

Coma d’en Bonet belongs to the Fuster Amades family, a family native to the village of Gandesa in the province of Tarragona, south of Catalonia, and has a long winegrowing tradition. They are now farming and producing their wines organically. They work 28 ha of vines divided into different plots and growing in the characteristic clay-calcareous soil, very poor in organic matter. All their wines are fully certified organic by the Catalan Organic Farming Council (CCPAE).
