Production:

Ecologic wine of limited production, sourced from the younger vines of the family’s vineyard in Torroja, Carignan vines of 15-20 years in age.

The cultivation of the vineyards is done under sustainable viticulture and by observing biodynamic principles. The wine is elaborated under the new appellation “Vi de la Vila” from Gratallops. This legislation, introduced in 2009 by the DOQ Priorat, recognises and protects each region’s different characteristics, viniculture, climate, soil, etc., with the purpose of highlighting their particular characteristics.

They employ no pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides. Aged 12 months in oak barrels, of which 30% are chestnut oak.

Tasting Notes: 

With a much more aromatic and youthful profile, bold, fresher, and aromatic, with a good concentration of very ripe fruit and floral notes. Soft and silky on the palate, it displays a touch of sweet, well-integrated oak, firm tannins, and a quite long and fresh finish.
