Production:

Crafted from a selection of the finest grapes gathered from old vines over 60 years of age. Aged for 17 months in French oak barrels followed by another 12 months in bottle.

Tasting Notes:

Good concentration of ripe red and black fruits, combined with notes of Mediterranean herbs, violets, and toasted notes. Firm, warm, and with a smooth texture, it displays ripe sweet fruit, earthy minerals, spice notes, and round tannins. Good balance and a long finish.

 

Celler El Masroig is one of the most well-known wineries in the Montsant region. It dates back to 1917 and today comprises over 200 members with approximately 500 ha of vineyards on property, which makes it one of the largest cellars under the denomination of Origin Montsant.
