Las Uvas del Ira, village wine, is a skilful blend of Garnacha, pure mountain garnachas at an altitude of 800 metres from old vines of around 60 years in age, selected from several different parcels near the village of Real de San Vicente, located on the eastern side of the Sierra de Gredos in the province of Toledo. The soil of all three parcels is composed of granite.

Production:

Hand harvested and naturally yeast fermented in three vats: 1/3 whole cluster direct pressing, 1/3 short and extractive maceration, and the rest whole cluster traditional fermentation and maceration. The three vats are blended and aged for 12 months in French oak foudre.

Tasting Notes: Freshness and elegance are its main attributes. Lovely fragrant nose, displaying red and black fruit and floral notes, spiciness, and balsamic notes. Intense and fresh on the palate with lots of fruit layers, round tannins, and a long finish.

Notes: A wine with years ahead of it will drink well for 8-10 years.
