Textura de Pedra comes from the estate "Vinya Més Alta", which, as its name suggests, is at the highest point of the "Turó del Serral". Its stony soils are rich in marine fossils, have good drainage, and are low-yield. With this new project, the aim is to recover native black varietals for the production of sparkling wines.
Production:
Origin River Anoia Valley, 100% estate produced and bottled, minimum 80% of own vineyard, 100% native grape variety, and 100% biodynamic viticulture.
For the elaboration of the Textura de Pedra, three native black varieties have been used: Xarel.lo Vermell, Bastard Negre, and Sumoll. For this reason, they have named it "Blanc de Negres".
Biodynamic viticulture procedures and manual harvesting. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature by variety and soil. Assemblage, second fermentation in bottle with long ageing on the lees, a minimum period of 48 months in a horizontal position. No added liqueur d'expedition.

Raventós i Blanc, a producer of top-quality cava with a well-deserved reputation for elegant, well-conceived white wines, comprises a 90-ha estate vineyard, woods, and a lake in Sant Sadurni d’Anoia that have belonged to the Raventós family since 1497. The winery was founded in 1986 by Josep-Maria Raventos, a member of the Codorniu family. After abandoning the presidency of the big firm Codorniu, he set up his new independent, much smaller, and quality-orientated winery.
Today, the operation is run by his own son and grandson, direct descendants. At the end of 2012, in order to better understand and convey the viticultural traditions in terms of soil and climate, they took the decision to leave the Cava Appellation and adopt a new, uncertified designation to classify their wines: “Conca del Riu Anoia”, the name for a small geographical area around the Anoia River Valley in eastern Penedès.
