Quality sparkling wine elaborated by the traditional method by Recaredo Mata and grown in a historic Barcelona Wine Valley, Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.
Intense was the first biodynamic sparkling wine in history, organically farmed using biodynamic principles with the Demeter certification accredited, ensuring strict compliance with the international Demeter Production and Processing Standards.
All the fruit is sourced from the estate’s vineyards in the Alt Penedès region in the village of Sant Sadurni, Torrelavit.
Production:
The entire harvesting process is carried out by hand. Exclusive in-house vinification. 17% of the base wine is aged in oak barrels for 2 months. Aged in the cellar with 100% natural cork stoppers. Remuage is carried out manually in traditional racks and disgorged by hand without freezing the neck of the bottle, a professional craft work with respect for the environment. Spent 31 months on its lees. It is a 100% dry cava with no sugar added.
Tasting Notes:
Intense red colour with fine and persistent bubbles. Intense aromatic nose of mature red forest fruits, slightly floral with some fine toasted notes. Dry a lively, pleasant entry on the palate. Good acidity and red fruit flavors. Long and refreshing finish.

Recaredo is a founding member of the new Brand, CORPINNAT, which stands for a collective European Union Brand established with the aim of distinguishing great sparkling wines made in the heart of the Penedès from 100% organic manual harvest, 100% vinified on the premises of the winery, and long ageing.
