Sourced from a 4-hectare single plot called "Finca La Caseta", located in the town of Bonastre within the district of Baix Penedès and the province of Tarragona, at an altitude of 170 metres above sea level and under a strong maritime influence due to its proximity to the coast, just 6 km away, together with the clayish soil, poor in organic matter, and the low-yield-producing vines, the grapes have excellent characteristics from this vineyard, which results in 100% terroir expression wines.

Production: 

The cultivation of the vineyards is done under sustainable viticulture. The harvest is done manually, followed by hand sorting of the grapes in the vineyard. The fermentation took place in stainless steel vats for 25 days, followed by 10 months of ageing on its lees in the same vats. Second fermentation in bottle with a minimum of 11 years of ageing in rima. 

Tasting Notes:

Good aromatic complexity in the nose, with toasted almond notes combined with the varietal aromas of thyme and rosemary. Clean, fresh, smooth, and creamy texture with mineral flavours and a long, refreshing finish.

Sicus Terrers Mediterranis is the project of Eduard Pie, a young winemaker from Bonastre in the Baix Penedès. A family-owned winery with more than 100 years of history and experience in producing bulk wines, until a few years ago, when Eduard assumed control of the winery, renovating it and starting to produce good-quality wines.
