Celler Batlle is a faithful representative of the winery's artisanal philosophy. A vintage sparkling wine resulting from sustainable viticulture that follows the biodynamic philosophy. It is made mainly from the Xarelo variety and a smaller proportion of Macabeo from a selection of their grand reserves from the best vintages. The grapes come from the family lands of "Font de Jui", an estate of 22.5 hectares with clay-limestone soil.

Production: 

Hand-harvested, rigorous selection of the grapes both in the vineyards and on the sorting table. The grapes are then gravity-fed into the press. The blend is decided by tasting before the bottles start the second fermentation. Each stage of the process is carried out by hand, including racking and disgorging.

Cork aged for more than nine years (104 months) and was only produced in those years with the best vintages.

Tasting Notes: 

Straw yellow colour with golden highlights.  Presents an elegant nose of white fruits, followed by aromatic herbs, vanilla, nuts, and dried apricot notes. Good entry on the palate with small, fine bubbles, glyceric texture, mouth-filling, complex with long-ageing notes, and lots of finesse fruit and minerality on an excellent long finish.
