Elaborated entirely from grapes grown on over 30-year-old Macabeo, Xarelo and Parellada vines, the traditional varieties of the Penedès, organically farmed.
Harvested manually, traditional slow fermentation in stainless steel. Minimum ageing of 36 months. Reducing sugar: 5 g/l.
Tasting Notes:
Scented nose of ripe fruit combined with the delicate ageing aroma, butter, and toasted notes. Good volume, splendid integration of ripe fruit aromas with the ageing notes, as well as some toasted and nutty touches. Long and elegant finish.
Note: Best consumed up to 12–24 months after the disgorgement date. Ideal as an aperitif, it also combines well with Iberian ham, cold meats, seafood, fish and meat sauce dishes, rice, meat, and semi-cured cheeses.

Agusti Torelló Mata is a family-owned winery of highly acclaimed prestige in the region, located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the capital of Cava and the heart of the Penedès region. They produce cava from traditional local varieties, 100% Penedès and 100% old vines. They strictly monitor the vines' growth, set production limits, and practise manual selection and picking of the grapes, vine by vine. All of their sparkling wines are renowned for their character, quality, and prestige.
