Viñas del Vero is the number one producer in the Denomination of Somontano for its volume and quality of production. Founded in 1986, it boasts a modern winery and 700 hectares of its own vineyards spread over a range of microclimates, producing a wide selection of good-quality wines from local and international varieties. This Gewürztraminer belongs to a collection of Viñas del Vero wines made from selected grapes sourced from a single vineyard and of limited production.

Production:

The Gewürztraminer grapes come from the finca “El Enebro."

It is made by cold maceration with recently picked grapes to enhance its varietal identity.

Tasting Notes: Golden color, floral, white roses, lychee fruit, and honeysuckle. Soft and velvety on the palate with a spicy touch, this unctuous, refreshing wine is reminiscent of the varietal’s perfumed, fruity character.

Notes: Best enjoyed in youth over the next 1-2 years. Accompanies perfectly with aperitifs, foie gras, smoked foods, and shellfish.
