Rose wine produced by J. Chivite Family Estates, Navarra’s leading bodega, marketed under the newly formed Designation of Origen VT3, Vino de la Tierra 3 Riberas, a small and quite unknown IG, Indicación Geografica Protegida, that groups selected productions from some of the Navarra’s villages. It belongs to the Chivite Las Fincas range of wines, born out of the perfectly matched partnership and longstanding friendship between the Chivite Family and the Arzak Family, San Sebastian's well-known 3-Michelin-Star Chef.
Production:
This is a spectacular rosado, a designer wine with an attractive presentation that is the result of a careful winemaking procedure. It was created by blending a selection of Garnacha Tinta and Tempranillo from the Finca Legarteda.
The grapes have been harvested at their optimum point of maturity and produced according to the traditional "sangrado" bleeding method. Aged on its lees for 4 months in stainless steel.
Tasting Notes:
Freshness and complexity at their best. Displays elegant red fruit aromas with hints of white fruit and floral notes such as rose petal. Smooth and silky on the palate, with good fruit definition and concentration. Flavoursome and unctuous.
