Mon Pare is a long-aged red wine, a wine of great authenticity that represents the good work and fidelity to the teachings of their ancestors, who for generations were dedicated to the world of wine. A tribute to their effort, perseverance, and unwavering love for the land and the vines that have been passed down the generations.

Production:

All the grapes are sourced from their own vineyards and selected by hand at the vineyard and at the winery. The whole-berry grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 18 months in a 5000-litre foudre, followed by a minimum of 6 months in the bottle.

Tasting Notes:

Red wine, tasty and dense. Great aromatic complexity, with aromas of ripe black fruit, balsamic, and spicy notes, accentuates the wine's subtle Mediterranean character with herbaceous touches. In the mouth, it is opulent and refreshing, well-balanced with a lengthy aftertaste.

Les Vinyes del Convent is a small family winery, run by the family of Elías Gil, the fourth generation of a long-standing family of wine producers from the local village of Horta de Sant Joan in the denomination of Terra Alta. Here is where the family has its roots and where their most personal project takes place as an homage to their ancestors and their passion for the world of wine.

All their wines are produced from their own vines; some are part of a legacy, and others are chosen for their quality and purity. The vines are spread over five different estates in the Horta de Sant Joan district, growing in unique landscapes with a strong footprint of the territory and with the Garnacha as the main protagonist.
