Mas Collet is made with selected Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha and Carinyena grapes from their own vineyards located at the highest part of the Capçanes mountains.

Production: 

Aged for 9 months in 1- to 5-year-old French and American oak barrels, followed by another 6 months in vats before bottling. Vegan suitable.

Tasting Notes:

Medium-bodied, flavoursome, jammy red fruits, hints of violet notes, and toasty and balsamic aromas. The palate is smooth, with well-integrated oak and round, mature tannins.

CELLER CAPÇANES

Founded in 1933 by five families from the village of Capçanes, who together established a cooperative that would handle large quantities of grapes economically and efficiently. The cooperative bears the name of the village where it is located: Capçanes, a village hidden away in the Priorato hills inland from Tarragona and with a long wine-growing history.
In the 1990s, the company was reinvented as an independent company with its original members as shareholders; today, they have around 130 members and produce a wide selection of high-quality wines, including the well-known Peraj Ha’abib, a Kosher wine, under the Montsant appellation.
