Production: 

100% traditional Penedès grapes, including Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada grapes sourced from old vines. Harvested manually, this cava has a minimum ageing of 18 months.

Tasting Notes: 

Fine and persistent bubbles. Clean and very fruity nose with hints of apple and caramel notes on a background of fresh herbs. Entry on the palate is smooth and fresh, displaying ripe apple and syrup notes. Well-integrated bubbles with an excellent sugar-acidity balance and a long aftertaste.

Best consumed up to 12–24 months after the disgorgement date. 

It is a very versatile Cava that can be enjoyed at any time; it is also ideal as an aperitif and combines perfectly with fish, seafood, cream soup, white meat, goat cheese, and desserts.

THE WINERY

Celler Kripta (Agusti Torelló Mata) is a family-owned winery of highly acclaimed prestige in the region, located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the capital of Cava and the heart of the Penedès region.

They produce sparkling wines from the traditional local varieties, 100% Penedès, and 100% old vines. They strictly monitor the vines' growth, set production limits, and practise manual selection and picking of the grapes, vine by vine.

Celler Kripta is one of the newest members to join the new brand, CORPINNAT, which stands for a collective European Union brand established with the aim of distinguishing great sparkling wines made in the heart of the Penedès from 100% organic manual harvest, 100% vinification on the premises of the winery, and long ageing.
