Mistela is the Spanish term for the French mistelle, a mixture of grape juice and alcohol.

This Liquor wine is elaborated exclusively from overripe black Grenache grapes selected from low-yielding old vines.

The fermentation process is stopped by the addition of alcohol, leaving a sweet and stable alcoholic wine. In order to obtain a higher concentration of colour and aromas, the grapes are left to macerate for 15 days, then pressed and left to rest in vats until bottling.

Tasting Notes:

Rich, sweet, figgy fruit with a jammy touch and offering ripe fruit notes, a smooth and long finish, and a good mouthful sensation.

Note:  Ideal with desserts.
