Traditional method of elaboration with an ageing period of 12-24 months in bottle. Made from a blend of Grenache that provides the fruitiness and sweetness, Monastrell gives it the force and structure, and the Pinot Noir provides volume, elegance and complexity. Residual sugar: 10 g/L
Tasting Notes: Lovely pale rose colour with a persistent and fine bubble. Fresh with wild forest fruit aromas, a floral touch of fresh violets and strawberries. On the palate it is fresh and lively with plenty of red fruit flavours. Finishing long and dry.
Because of its excellent freshness and finesse, it is ideal as an aperitif with risotto, pasta, shellfish and fish dishes.
Cava Vives Ambrós is a small family business, the inheritors of a winemaking tradition passed on along a number of generations. The Cellar is located in the small village of Montferri in the Alt Camp, Tarragona. They elaborate a wide range of still wines and sparkling wines, faithfully adhering to their philosophy of practising artisanal work both in the vineyard and in the winery. All the work is carried out manually, from the remuage in the racks to the disgorgement, the artisanal wax seal, and the printing of the disgorgement date at the back of the label in each bottle.
