A wine of great personality made by Emilio Rojo, a visionary and well-known winemaker in the Ribeiro region. All of his wines denote quality and come from an area with exceptional viticultural conditions.
Mein Castes Brancas is the result of various micro-vinifications meticulously cultivated in accordance with the organic philosophy. The primary grape variety is the Treixadura, complemented by small percentages of other indigenous varieties. All grapes are estate-grown in Lugar del Mein, located in the Avia valley. Each wine conveys the richness and texture of 'sabrego', the region's characteristic soil composed of weathered granite sand, which provides ideal water retention and is ideal for vine cultivation
Production:
The grapes are harvested at their optimum stage of ripeness. They are selected bunch by bunch both in the vineyard and in the winery. Each plot and variety was vinified separately in stainless steel tanks of various sizes and in foudres.
Aged for 10 months on its less in the same tanks.
Tasting Notes:
Vibrant and harmonious, it combines ripe white fruit and light floral aromas with subtle mineral, citrus and wild herbs notes. Its natural freshness brings the palate to life, a long, satisfying finish with a lingering, pleasant aftertaste.
