Billecart-Salmon is a prestigious small family-owned champagne house; it was founded in 1818, and its historic roots are found in Mareuil-sur-Ay in the heart of the Champagne region. It is one of the few remaining major Champagne houses that are still family-owned and, actually, under the management of the seventh generation, remain faithful to the same standards of quality. It cultivates a 100-hectare estate and obtains grapes from an area of 300 hectares spread over 40 crus in the Vallée de la Marne in Champagne, from the Cote des Blancs to the Montagne de Reims.

Billecart-Salmon is well known for its iconic Brut Rosé, widely considered for its subtle and refined aromas, pale pink colour, great intensity and incredible finesse, establishing it as a benchmark among rosé champagnes.

Le Réserve Extra Brut is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier from three different years and sourced from the best crus in the Champagne region: the Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne and the Meunier from the Vallée de la Marne and the southern slopes of Épernay. A light and very fine champagne, all harmony and purity.

It has aged on its lees for 36 months. Extra Brut dosage. 

It is characterised by the fine bubbles and plentiful mousse. It presents a clean nose with layers of natural fruit, white stone fruits and fresh fruits, combined with a delightful floral touch and subtle bakery notes. On the palate, it shows a delicate texture complemented by concentrated flavours, apple, crisp pear and citrus and roasted notes. The finish is long and persistent, marked by a notorious freshness and minerality.
