DO is the new cava from Jané Ventura Cellar, resulting from the formidable experience, joyful passion, and enthusiasm of its creator, Gerard Jané, the enologist and 4th generation of this family-run operation, situated since 1914 in the village of El Vendrell.

The vineyards are located in the region of Baix Penedès, north of Tarragona, in small plots between the sea and the mountains. They made a wide range of wines and cavas, all characterised by their approachability and charm. 

Production:  

Elaborated from a blend of the three traditional Penedès grapes, sourced mostly from old vines planted along the mountainside of the Baix Penedès, 5% fermented and aged in French oak barrels. Aged for 45 months.

Tasting Notes: 

Fine, persistent bubbles. Intense scents of fresh fruit and white flowers combine with aromatic herbs and citric notes. Smooth on the palate with refreshing white fruits and a twist of citrus notes, good acidity, and finishing dry with a long-lasting bead of tiny bubbles.

Note: Best consumed up to 12–24 months after the disgorgement date.
