A quality, organically produced sparkling wine made by Can DescRegut, a small, family-run winery in the Penedès region. Made from a classic blend of the three traditional Penedès grape varieties: Macabeu, Xarel·lo, and Parellada, with a higher proportion of Xarel·lo.
Since 2020, Can Descregut has been a member of CORPINNAT, which stands for a collective European Union brand established with the aim of distinguishing great sparkling wines made in the heart of the Penedès from 100% organic manual harvest, 100% vinified on the premises of the winery, and long-aged.
Production:
100% own grapes. Exclusively in-house vinification, made by the traditional method. Fermentation in stainless steel vats; second fermentation in the bottle. No expedition liquor was added. Aged for more than 2 years in bottle on its lees.
Made from the three native grape varieties grown exclusively in vineyards in the Penedès region.
The grapes are hand-harvested from vines cultivated without the use of herbicides or insecticides in order to respect the environment.
Dry style, with no added sugar or sulphites. Certified organic by the CCPAE.
Tasting Notes:
A quality sparkling wine of marked Mediterranean character with fine and persistent, well-integrated bubbles. Fresh and expressive nose with scents of bakery notes. Lean, intense, ripe fruit in perfect harmony with the acidity, creamy and lively.
