Production: 

This dry amontillado sherry has been initially aged under a veil of yeast, followed by several years of ageing in the oxidative process of 4 years in Bodega Emperatriz Eugenia in Jerez de la Frontera.

Amontillado is a variety of sherry that is first aged under flor but is then exposed to oxygen, producing a sherry that is darker than a fino but lighter than an oloroso. Naturally dry.

Tasting Notes: 

The classic amontillado from Jerez is dry, full-bodied, and deep. Rich nutty flavours and sweet spice notes.

Notes: Ideal as an aperitif, with dry fruits, and to accompany hearty soups and spicy Indian meals.
