Terroir al Limit’s project based on the DO Montsant. As part of the Sense Fronteres project, this range of wines bears the stamp of Dominik’s Terroir al Limit line of wines. The grapes are sourced from two old, high-altitude plots located in the village of La Figuera. In vineyards with an age between 40 and 80 years at 700-800 metres, the soils are composed of red clay-limestone with layers of gypsum.

Production: 

The wine is fermented naturally, with full clusters in concrete vats using only native yeasts naturally found on the fruit. Followed by a slow, gentle fermentation for about 7 to 8 days. The wine remains in the same concrete vats for 6 months, without seeing any oak. Bottled unfiltered.

Tasting notes:

Elegant, fresh and vibrant; beautifully sweet, spicy, fruity, floral and harmonious. Medium to full-bodied, with excellent fruit expression and fresh acidity supported by its fine tannins.

THE WINERY

All the wines at Terroir Al Límit are elaborated, practising sustainable viticulture with great respect for nature and its surroundings. The wines are organically farmed following ecological principles. Respect for the environment manifests itself throughout the winemaking process, from the grape harvest down to the bottling. The grapes are hand-harvested and hand-sorted both in the vineyard and the cellar. Since its beginning in 2004, Terroir Al Limit has reached a highly respected status not only in the region but also worldwide, producing wines of the highest purity and maximum expression of terroir.
